so these images are the most recent. it is often a struggle to figure out why you take any given picture. this grouping is interesting to me because of their subtle obscurity. there is something within them. . . a bizarre place of worship, a dark area amidst dense vegetation, a t-rex that looks like it is on the hunt, the emptiness and softness of a pool at dusk. reason enough?? the reason i look for reason is in part due to a suggestion by the owner of M+B gallery in LA who said that i must find what i love. i drove to the salton sea, joshua tree and then ended back in golden gate park and i still don't know what i love but i took these pictures anyway.

finally some written context. i love this blog man, really fantastic imagery as i've come to expect from JF. please keep this going! U might want to make the overall look/feel of it similar to your website? just a thought. I know this is just the beginning, but your images warrant no less. great stuff.
